Situated in an industrial area on Chicago's near west side, CBC Specialty Beverage's work includes supplying coffee and coffee machines to numerous restaurants throughout the area. Seeking a jolt of creative and constructive energy, the company turned to Altierra for a corporate headquarters renovation and warehouse expansion. A linchpin to the overhaul was Altierra building a two-story structure that connected a pair of two-story buildings and provided heightened operational efficiency. Employing a contemporary office design, work included retrofitting existing space to accommodate a new elevator, and remodeling and upgrading existing spaces. Overall, $1.8 million was the project cost for the three buildings totaling 8,000 square feet. And as it has done for numerous other projects, Altierra ensured a seamless transition as the company remained fully operational through the overhaul's entirety.
